Congratulations to the Halifax West Track & Field team for an excellent showing at the NSSAF Provincial Track & Field Championships on the week-end. We had outstanding results from Matthew Coolen who broke the Provincial record in Hurldes and the 200m and just missed the record in 100m by 100th of a second. Coming home with three gold medals was awesome.
Sebastian Belanger received a bronze in the 100m, Alex Doane received a silver in 1500m and a bronze in 3000m, Lukasz received a bronze in long jump The Intermediate and the Senior 4 X 100m Relay teams both received Silver medals. The boys team consist of Sebastian Belanger, Matthew Carlton, Yvan Kammelu and Lukasz Kolanko. The girls team consist of Maddie Belliveau, Chelsea Foote, Rachelle Lalande and Emily Poole Awesome Results!
